St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, Waidhan, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic spirit and enthusiasm on 15 August 2026.

The National Flag was hoisted by Rev. Fr. Joshy, Parish Priest, Waidhan, followed by the National Anthem. The gathering was addressed by Principal Sr. Pushpa SABS and Manager Sr. Alphonsa SABS, who inspired the students with their words of patriotism and responsibility.

The programme was hosted by the Green House under the guidance of Mr. John Paul, Mrs. Preeti Shah and Ms. Deepika Nag. The students presented a meaningful and vibrant programme that reflected the spirit of freedom, unity and love for the nation.

The celebration concluded with a strong sense of patriotism, gratitude and pride in our beloved nation.
